Winter is upon us. While winter isn't my favorite season I've learned to appreciate it and all that comes along with it. Every season brings with it a new energy and meaning. Winter is all about reflection hibernation and going inward. It's the coldest time of the year and teaches us the importance of stillness and rest. It's a great time to get grounded and tune into our heart's desire.
Sound has an ability to ground and relax the body in subtle but profound ways. Now is a great time to be still and tune-in to our inner voice. The intention of this soundbath is to ground the body calm the mind and connect with ourselves on a deeper level. We will focus on the root chakra located at the base of the spine and on deeper soothing sounds that will support the body penetrate the cells restore harmony and ground us to the present moment.
We will start the event with a short grounding activity followed by 45 minutes of relaxation. Your body and mind will thank you afterwards!
A Few Things To Remember
Due to the nature of the event the doors will close once the soundbath has begun. So please do your best to arrive on time.
Please bring your own mat blankets pillows and whatever else is needed for your comfort. Your body temperature will more than likely drop during the soundbath so come prepared. I would also suggest bringing water and to refrain from eating 1-2 hours prior to the sound bath.
Feel free to wear the color red or bring something red with you. The root chakra is associated with the color red and the phrase "I AM". It is our support and is often associated with things such as strength security and grounding.
The location for the event is inside Nourishing Journey Wellness Center & Cafe. There will be a sign outdoors to direct you.
